Long Weekend

It’s going to be a long weekend without Yin. I miss her already and it’s barely begun. I want to feel her next to me. Run my hand through her hair. Hold her hand. Feel her touch me.

Missing Yin is compounded by the fact of this being a particularly busy time of the year for other reasons…it feels like I run from one thing to the next with no real way to stop and slow life down and really experience any part of it- it’s a whole lot like just going through the motions. Not my favorite way to live. Not my favorite way to be with Yin. Not my favorite way to do anything.

I think I’m going out to buy a lottery ticket for Yin and I. I’m sure a BJ for good luck would improve my odds. Too bad it’s going to be a few days before that’s possible.
